European Union ATEX – Directive, applies to all products to be used in potentially explosive environments, both surface-level plants and mines. ATEX – Directive allows the free circulation of goods within the European market and aims to eliminate – or at least reduce – the risks of an explosion of any kind which may result from the use of products as well as from their transformation process.
